Plans to turn part of the Hop Exchange in Southwark Street into a 'high end' restaurant have been approved by councillors.
The owner of a Banksy artwork in Bermondsey says he wants to hear the views of local people before deciding whether to preserve the mural when the site is redeveloped.
Detectives are investigating an incident at Elephant & Castle on Tuesday morning which left a 22-year-old man in hospital with stab wounds.
