Greater London Authority could adopt GLC coat of arms

Two decades after the creation of the Greater London Authority and nearly 35 years after the abolition of its predecessor the Greater London Council, City Hall could soon adopt the coat of arms previously used by County Hall.

Blackfriars Road is likely to be closed for a further two weeks whilst Thames Water repairs a burst water main. The Cut and Union Street will be shut to through traffic for several weeks after that.
