The children – aged 4 and 5 – have been attending the Arc nursery on Crosby Row for several years, some of them from about 3 months old, and are now moving on in September to their new primary schools.

Cllr Lorraine Zuleta, Chaucer ward councillor and executive member for culture, leisure and sport, presented certificates at the ceremony held in the Rainbow Building on 26 July.

Charterhouse-in-Southwark has been serving the North Southwark community for more than 120 years. Earlier this year it announced a new focus on work with young people – providing youth clubs and activities for young people – and supporting their families through the work of a family support centre and counselling.
