Auction for New Year’s Eve party suite at Park Plaza County Hall hotel
The Park Plaza County Hall is offering the opportunity to bid to host a New Year party with excellent views of the fireworks at the London Eye.
The Park Plaza County Hall in Addington Street says that due to a cancellation its biggest and best suite is now available to the highest bidder.
The winning bid will get the suite (worth £800) for a night's party for 25 people and a case of champagne.
The hotel is just yards from the London Eye on the South Bank where at midnight an eight-minute firework display will be held. The display has been cut from the usual 10 minutes by Boris Johnson as a cost-cutting measure.
Email [email protected] to place your bid for the suite – updates with high bid will be sent to all bidders daily. The auction closes at 5pm on Monday 21 December
The winner will get room hire for 25 people from 9pm to 2am, plus overnight accommodation and breakfast for two people.
