London's Air Ambulance caused a stir on Friday afternoon when it landed in the middle of Southwark Bridge.
Emergency services were called to Lower Thames Street in the City to reports of a collision involving a lorry and a cyclist.
The Air Ambulance landed on Southwark Bridge but the injured cyclist was taken to hospital by road.
"We treated a 38-year-old male cyclist for pelvic & lower limb injuries following a collision with a lorry this afternoon and took him to the Royal London Hospital," said the London Ambulance Service.
The Air Ambulance's dramatic mid-Thames landing and takeoff were captured on camera by many local office workers who shared their videos on YouTube.
