Friends and supporters of the Southwark Playhouse gathered on Sunday to celebrate the theatre company's 20th anniversary.
Founded in 1993 in Southwark Bridge Road, the theatre moved to London Bridge Station in 2007 and earlier this year relocated to Newington Causeway.
Guests at the birthday event included patrons Simon Hughes MP and Andy Serkis, as well as Tom Wilson and Juliet Alderdice who co-founded the playhouse with Mehmet Ergen.
The YoCo youth-led company told the story of the playhouse in a short performance.
Former artistic director Erica Whyman OBE unveiled a plaque in the theatre's foyer to mark the anniversary.
