Tesco Express opens in The Cut
A new Tesco Express food store has opened in The Cut, close to Southwark Underground Station.
The new Tesco Express store – on the ground floor of Ring Court – replaces the 24-hour Costcutter shop which closed in summer 2013.
Tesco Express will be open daily 6am-midnight.
Customers on the opening morning were given 'I heart Southwark' jute bags.
The new store is less than 300 metres from Tesco Express in Great Suffolk Street and 360 metres away from the proposed Tesco Express in Waterloo Road.
