Shard hotel opens £10,000-a-night suite
A new £10,000-a-night hotel suite on level 39 of the Shard was launched last week.
On the first anniversary of the launch of the Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard, London, three new suites have been opened.
The Shangri-La Suite on level 39 starts at £10,000 a night, including breakfast for two and VAT.
The suite even has its own lift from the ground floor ("for security and complete discretion") so guests don't have to mingle with any riffraff.
£10,000 also gets you a butler, chauffeur and personalised stationery.
