Transport for London has launched a public consultation on plans to send eastbound buses on routes 53 and 363 over the Bricklayers Arms Flyover, cutting journey times and skipping two bus stops.
TfL says that the change will "provide through passengers with a quicker journey and will help improve the reliability of both bus services" although some people will face a longer walk – around 400 metres – to catch their bus.
The consultation period runs until 21 July; full details on the TfL website.
Two years ago TfL indicated that the flyover could be demolished by 2020 but no further plans have been made public.
