Plans to build a 15-storey tower on the site of the Kwik Fit garage in New Kent Road have been revealed by developers Capital Homes.
Capital Homes is proposing to build around 100 new homes and is pledging to provide 35% affordable housing, with a mix of shared ownership and 'affordable rent' tenures.
The proposed new building will range in height from six to 15 storeys, with commercial space on the ground floor.
The firm intends to submit a planning application to Southwark Council this autumn, with construction due to begin next year if the scheme gets the go-ahead.
