Going from strength to strength
Since my first review in August 2012, we've been back to Brasserie Blanc behind the Royal Festival Hall many times. And each time it has been a great success. The place is attractive and the service excellent. If you eat from their set menu (order before 6.30pm) it's great value and the food is just fine. My favourite South Bank place these days...
Worth a visit
Brasserie Blanc has taken over the previous Chez Gerrard on Upper Ground behind the Royal Festival Hall. We gave it a try on Sunday night and it was very nice. The restaurant looks physically unchanged (which is a good thing) and the menu is still French but food is a bit more bistro-like and not so expensive. We enjoyed the food and the service, and will definitely go back.
