Dozens of people took part in a noisy drumming event in The Scoop next to City Hall on Saturday afternoon to raise awareness of World Fair Trade Day.
The event, scheduled for 1pm till 3pm, lasted many hours as drummers came and went. Others just clapped along.
World Fair Trade Day is a festival of Fair Trade with events held in more than 70 countries on and around the second Saturday of May.
This year's theme is 'Big Bang' – a global day of drumming and other noisy events to beat poverty, beat climate change and beat the economic crisis.
