Police search for ‘man with sword’ at Elephant & Castle
Police were called to the Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre during Tuesday evening's rush hour after reports that a man had been seen getting off a route 196 bus carrying what appeared to be a sword.
Police rushed to the scene at 5.45pm on Tuesday evening.
"A group of three men were stopped in the shopping centre a short while later and found to be carrying a piece of artwork and not a sword," said a police spokesman.
