Bus passengers in Southwark Street could be forgiven for being confused by the new bus stop flags installed this week by Transport for London.

The westbound bus stop close to the Menier Chocolate Factory now carries the name 'Station Road / Crescent Road'.

The bus stop flag was intended for installation in Sidcup.

Across the road the eastbound bus stop is named 'George Street'. That sign could have been intended for stops carrying that name in Edgware Road, Gloucester Place or Richmond-upon-Thames.
