A giant electronic sign has been installed on Westminster Bridge warning tourists not to get involved with the illegal gaming scams which have blighted the bridge in recent years.
The solar-powered sign has been installed by the Metropolitan Police and displays the message 'do not participate in illegal gambling' in a range of European languages.
Ironically, the electronic sign narrows the pavement for pedestrians in the same way that the gaming scams do.
Earlier this year one cup-and-ball gamer received an ASBO.
Should police do more to combat gambling on Westminster Bridge?
