Mayor of London Sadiq Khan says that he has concerns about the impact on traffic of the three-month closure of Tower Bridge at the end of this year.
Florence Eshalomi, London Assembly member for Lambeth and Southwark, tabled this question to Mr Khan for Wednesday's Mayor's Question Time session at City Hall:
"As you are aware, slow traffic flow and congestion in Central London have a serious impact on air quality in the capital.
"Taking this in to account, and given the partial closure of Tooley Street, is now the time to close Tower Bridge for 3 months?"
