Great curry
I can say this was the best lamb curry I have ever had the meat was fresh and melted in the mouth
The tandore chicken was all so moist .
The waiter was helpfull and very friendly
The restaurant's interior was a lovley change from the usual curry houses
Can't wait to go back .i am lucky to have this restaurant on my door step .
Do give it a go

Terrible
The service at this restaurant is so bad, we did not even stay for dinner. After being seated we were ignored, whilst people who arrived after us were served before us. The menu is a cross between Nandos and McDonalds. And yet the prices are higher than all other local Indian restaurants. After being ignored for 10 minutes, we left, never to return.
meh - ok but not all that
I'd seen some really positive reviews - unfortunately was disappointed. Service was patchy - it was often really hard to get anyone's attention (the restaurant wasn't full). I'm vegetarian and my food was ok but really nothing special. I found the dhosa under-spiced (prefer the version at Bangalore Express of all places!) The starter was a fried potato cake which was greasy and not crisp. Several dishes were tepid in temperature (not spice!). Given this place isn't supercheap I'm in no rush to return. Pity as my expectations had been high.
Good but not amazing
We went by chance. Warm reception and nice decor. Service was quick, but a bit random (some delay, one dish which did not arrive). We were pushed to order more but resisted.
Food was good but not amazing and the portions were quite small.
Est India restaurant
One of the best Indian restaurants I've been to in my life, absolutely loved the food... Very authentic as I am South Indian myself, it was like going back home.. Defo go there again, at least I can get out of cooking now... Lol

Service was brilliant too, I would recommend anyone to try it, if you enjoy Indian you will defo go back...you won't be disappointed, bar area is lovely the whole theme was impressive... Two thumbs up!

Est. India is the best Indian in SE1
Just visited Est. info and enjoyed a great dinner with the highlight being the masala dosa and a wonderful railway lamb curry.
Est.India has a very modern interior and very professional & attentive staff. Definitely the best Indian in SE1.
LOVELY!
went to estd india last night and it was lovely. not the cheapest indian i have been to, but the food was really good, fresh and seemed authentic, as far as i can judge, so that would justify the price. (try the railway lamb curry- it was ace!) service was superbe and the decor is very nicely done. nice addition to the area.
