Elephant's annual film festival under way

The third annual Elefest Film Festival got under way on Monday night at the London College of Communication. The programme of free movie screenings runs until Saturday.

Bus driver assaulted at Bricklayers Arms

Police investigating a violent attack on a bus driver in the Old Kent Road have released images taken from CCTV cameras on the bus.

Fire Brigade relocation confirmed

The London Fire Brigade has confirmed plans to relocate its headquarters from Albert Embankment to Union Street. The Lambeth site is likely to be redeveloped, with plans for a skyscraper under consideration.
