Young people fight to save Alfred Salter Playground from 'super sewer'

On Friday more than 100 young people from the Downside Fisher Youth Club submitted their written response to Thames Water objecting to the proposed use of the Alfred Salter Playground as a work site for the Thames Tunnel project.

300 evacuated from Waterloo Travelodge fire

Around 300 people were evacuated from the Travelodge London Waterloo hotel on Saturday night when a fire broke out on the first floor.
