Work in London Bridge? Have your say on local policing

London SE1 website team

People who work, employ staff or run a business in the London Bridge area are being invited to help reshape the way the police look after the neighbourhood.

People associated with local business are being asked to spare 15 minutes of their time to complete an online survey.

The survey results will help officers to decide new policing tactics to be trialled over the coming year.

At the end of the project recommendations will be presented to key policing decision makers.

Business organisation London First is project managing this research which is backed by the Team London Bridge business improvement district.

As a thank you for taking part 12 lucky respondents will be invited to join the City of London Police commissioner Mike Bowron for an evening's entertainment including displays by firearms teams, mounted branch and the police dog unit, followed by a private reception.

Team London Bridge funds 2,000 extra patrol hours every years in the London Bridge BID area, contributing to a 9 per cent reduction in total crime and a 50 per cent reduction in cycle theft, year on year.
