There were long queues for the London Eye on Saturday morning as the observation wheel reopened to the public after its annual January maintenance shutdown.
The attraction is now known as the Coca-Cola London Eye after EDF Energy's four-year sponsorship deal finished last year.
The end of the EDF sponsorship means that all 32 of the wheel's passenger capsules now have the same grey colour scheme.
In 2011, the decision to brand one of the capsules in EDF Energy's orange corporate colour led to a dispute with Lambeth's planning applications committee.
Later this year the London Eye's owners – Merlin Entertainments – will open a new attraction at County Hall called Shrek's Adventure in the space formerly occupied by the London Film Museum.
