Post Office to open in Harper Road newsagents
SE1 will gain a new Post Office in February when Harper News in Harper Road joins the network.
Signage for the new Post Office at Harper News went up before Christmas, and the service is due to open on Monday 18 February at 1pm.
"The service will be one of our local-style branches with a low-screened, open-plan Post Office service point carefully integrated into the retail counter," said Michael Monah, area network change manager.
"Customers will be able to carry out a wide range of Post Office transactions alongside retail purchases.
"The new service will offer long opening hours, with the Post Office opening hours in line with the retail business."
The shop is open 7am to 10pm from Monday to Saturday, and 9am to 8pm on Sundays.
Similar mini Post Offices have opened in the last year in Tanner Street and New Kent Road.
