Nearly 400 people took part in a a colourful farmyard-themed carnival procession through the streets of Waterloo on Friday lunchtime.
The 10th annual Waterloo Carnival was the largest yet, featuring children from local schools including Oasis Academy Johanna as well as members of older people's groups and other community organisations.
Welcoming the participants to Waterloo Millennium Green, Vauxhall MP Kate Hoey described the event as "the best small carnival in London".
Two samba bands took part in this year's carnival which made its way along Lower Marsh, Westminster Bridge Road and Baylis Road before passing through the Tanswell Estate to reach Waterloo Millennium Green.
