Waterloo Carnival 2016: video and photos
The 13th annual Waterloo Carnival procession made its way along Lower Marsh, Westminster Bridge Road and Baylis Road on Friday lunchtime.
Steve Chalke, founder of Oasis, welcomed the carnival to Waterloo Millennium Green
The carnival ended with a storytelling session on Millennium Green
This year's theme was 'books and cartoon characters'.
The procession included pupils from Oasis Academy Johanna, Coin Street Nursery and Coburg Primary School, as well as two samba bands, performers from Mandinga Arts and members of Blackfriars Settlement.
