Myths and legends theme for 12th Waterloo Carnival
The sun shone on the Waterloo Carnival parade as it made its way through the streets on Friday lunchtime.

The procession travelled from Oasis Academy Johanna to Waterloo Millennium Green via Lower Marsh, Westminster Bridge Road and Baylis Road.
At the Millennium Green, the carnival was greeted by Vauxhall MP Kate Hoey.
Participants included pupils from Oasis Academy Johanna, Oasis Academy South Bank, Cobourg School, Coin Street nursery and Blackfriars Settlement.
This year the carnival featured the cast of Adventures in Wonderland, the immersive theatre show currently running at The Vaults below Waterloo Station.
