The prime minister visited the Coin Street Neighbourhood Centre on the South Bank on Monday.
Mr Cameron visited the family and children's centre run by Coin Street Community Builders and met group director Iain Tuckett, head of family and children's centre Jenny Deeks, and head of early years education Kathryn Yianadji.
The PM's visit came on the same day that he made a speech about the importance of the family at the Royal College of General Practitioners.
The Coin Street Neighbourhood Centre has long been a popular venue for visits and photo opportunities by leading politicians.
Both Gordon Brown and David Cameron have made numerous visits to the Stamford Street building. Ed Miliband has also used the centre for a number of events.
