'Boutique hotel' proposed for Lower Marsh
Plans for a new 'boutique hotel' in Lower Marsh have been revealed.
Midas Ltd wants to demolish the buildings at 23-25 Lower Marsh – the shopfronts previously occupied by Gramex, Inshoku and Steve's Bed & Breakfast – and build a new hotel, flats and shop/restaurant units.
Plans for the new development, designed by Rolfe Judd, are currently on show in the windows of the former Steve's B&B.
Gramex recently relocated to new premises on the opposite side of the street.
