A horse-drawn replica mail coach visited the George Inn in Borough High Street as part of Royal Mail's 500th anniversary celebrations.
This year Royal Mail is marking 500 years since Henry VIII knighted Brian Tuke, the first Master of the Posts, in 1516.
The George is London's only surviving galleried coaching inn.
From Borough High Street, the coach crossed London Bridge to join a Royal Mail event in Guildhall Yard.
The horse-drawn coach has appeared in Cardiff, Edinburgh and Belfast in recent weeks as part of the anniversary celebrations.
