Last week we reported that a final decision on whether to allow the Garden Bridge to use Lambeth Council-owned land on the South Bank would be made by councillors in November.

Lambeth cabinet WON’T make final Garden Bridge decision after all
The Garden Bridge Trust needs use of council-owned land on the South Bank for its southern landing building

Lambeth Council now tells us that the notice was included in the authority's 'forward plan' of scheduled major decisions in error.

The page – published on the council website on Friday – has now been removed from public view.

There are no plans for a further cabinet-level decision on the Garden Bridge project.

A decision to allow the lease between the council and Coin Street Community Builders to be varied was made by Cllr Jack Hopkins on Maundy Thursday this year, and was later upheld by the council's overview & scrutiny committee.

A final decision now rests with the board of Coin Street Community Builders.
