14 members of RBS's Holborn-based fiannce team spent the day clearing out the garden, building three flower beds and landscaping the area for the children to enjoy.

The Coin Street Family & Children's Centre has been working closely with Waterloo Green Trust to create a new environmental education programme to help local youngsters enjoy and learn more about nature and the enivironment by helping to maintain their own little garden.

Children will be able to plant their favourite flowers, grow their own fruit and vegetables or just learn more about the insects they find.

The Family & Children's Centre opened in 2003 in temporary buildings at 99A Upper Ground and will move into the new Coin Street Neighbourhood Centre on Stamford Street when it opens in 2007.
